Smoother Skin The Non-Surgical Way
Tailored To Your Skin Type And Goals
Chemical peels are a popular service offered by Vibrant Med Spa. Peels promote even skin tone and texture while brightening and improving fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and hyperpigmentation. Our medical grade chemical peels are personalized based on your skin type and condition.
During a peel, a chemical solution is applied to the skin. The solution affects the top layers of skin, “peeling” away imperfections and smoothing lines. Damaged skin is exfoliated away, leaving fresher, younger-looking skin in its place.
We can also add on our Advanced Treatment Booster and/or dermaplaning to amplify your results and help you toward your appearance goals. During a consultation, we’ll determine what could work best for you and give you the information you need to make a decision.
Is a Chemical Peel Right For You?
Peels can be a good choice if you don’t want surgery but would like a quick way to a younger look. There are many different levels of peels, from gentle to aggressive. A gentle peel can be an option if you want to look good for an upcoming event; a more aggressive peel can address more complex skin issues. Our staff can explain all your options to you, and help you choose what would work best for you.
What Should I Expect During A Peel Treatment?
Since peels can be done in about a half an hour, you don’t have to disrupt your schedule. Some people have them done at lunch, or at the end of the day before going home. Discomfort is minimal (most patients don’t report any), but your skin may be red or flushed looking afterward. This dissipates soon afterward.
Most patients notice some improvement right after the treatment, but optimum results usually take a few days. Peels may need to be repeated periodically (depending on the type) to deliver the best ongoing results.
